BOUND WISCONSIN LEVEL 1 FOOTBALL TEAM OF THE WEEK NOMINEES

Belleville Wildcats
Belleville was the belle of the ball last season when the Wildcats snuck in with a record under .500 and beat undefeated Eastern Suburban Conference champion Cambridge before advancing to the state semi-finals. This year, they snuck in with a record under .500 and hammered undefeated Eastern Suburban Conference champion Markesan 42-14. The Wildcats ran for 296 yards in the game.

Crandon Cardinals
Crandon is the number six seed in its group in Division 6, but went on the road to defeat third-seeded Auburndale 40-33, marking the just the second playoff win in school history and first since 2004. The Cardinals rushed for 297 yards, with Cruz Palubicki going for 149 yards and two touchdowns while backfield-mate Brexden Kane finished with 130 yards and three scores.

De Pere Redbirds

The teams were tied at 20 at the end of regulation, with Neenah scoring first and kicking the extra point. De Pere would score on their overtime possession as well, and Cayden Cavanaugh got a shovel pass for the game-winning, walk-off two-point conversion. Quarterback Holden Woodfill threw for 393 yards in the win.

Milwaukee Reagan Huskies
Milwaukee Reagan scored the first football playoff victory in school history in convincing fashion on Friday night, as the Huskies hammered Milwaukee Bradley Tech 62-0. Reagan did it all on the ground, rushing for 385 yards and eight touchdowns, converting seven of the two-point plays as well. Amarii Ward and Nathan Caldwell combined for 350 rushing yards in the game.

Nicolet Knights
Nicolet suffered through a five-game losing streak to begin conference play, but the Knights showed the challenging North Shore schedule prepared them well, going on the road to defeat second-seeded Holmen 23-13. Nicholas Bongard was able to hit on some big plays in the passing game while Conner McKenna rushed for 160 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.
