Monday, December 15
Mohammad Badwan, Salam, junior
Badwan lit up the scoreboard, but to no avail as Salam fell to Kenosha Bradford 95-66. The junior guard finished with 47 points and 8 rebounds on the night. He was 10 of 17 from beyond the arc.
Brody Graetz, River Falls, senior
Graetz and River Falls secured a win over a ranked team on Monday night, as he led the Wildcats to a 71-57 victory over Division 3, ninth-ranked Prescott. The senior guard finished with 30 points, 8 rebounds, and five assists. Graetz was efficient from the floor, knocking down five of eleven shots from deep and nine of ten free throws.
Easton Lurvey, Three Lakes, sophomore
The sophomore from Three Lakes has had a great start to his season, including in a 62-48 win over Crandon on Monday night. Lurvey tallied 32 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and 4 steals as he filled the box score up en route to sealing the victory.
Alston Metoxen, Green Bay West, senior
Metoxen had a monster double-double as West fell in a close one to Menominee Nation 68-66. The senior finished with 42 points and 21 rebounds, while shooting 13 of 17 from deep.
Weston Nieman, Spencer, junior
Spencer took home a 63-52 win over Division 5, sixth-ranked Loyal on Monday night and Nieman led the way. The Greyhounds did a good job of containing senior big man Sam Bezlyk, and Nieman stepped up for the Rockets. Nieman scored a game-high 22 points as Spencer improved to 5-0.
Tristan Pisano, Westosha Central, junior
Many younger athletes put the value of scoring the ball on the basketball court above all else. Pisano was a great example of that not being the case, despite a 71-70 loss to Racine Case. The 5-10 guard scored just four points for the Falcons in the loss, but was a menace on defense where he recorded nine steals and nine blocks.
West Salem
Two very good teams on the western side of the state did battle on Monday night as West Salem made the short trip to Holmen for a non-conference tilt. The Panthers came away with a thrilling 83-81 victory. Leading the way for West Salem was junior forward Drew McConkey, who finished with a team high 21 points, one of five players that finished with double digit points.

Tuesday, December 16
Jayce Brechtl, Waterford, senior
Brechtl poured in a double-double as Waterford held off Mukwonago 75-63 on Tuesday night. The 6-6 senior forward had a game high 29 points for the Wolverines, while also collecting 10 rebounds, to help give the eighth-ranked team in Division 2 a sixth straight victory.
Hunter Bradway & Caleb Irlbeck, Osceola, seniors
The senior duo was instrumental in Osceola improving to 5-0 following a 90-87 win over New Richmond on Tuesday night. Bradway had a game high 28 points and 4 rebounds for the Chieftains. He was 13 of 16 from the free throw line. Irlbeck recorded another double-double on the year, tallying 21 points and 12 rebounds.
Devon Feck, Rhinelander, senior
Feck can light up from deep and displayed that ability in full as Rhinelander took down Wausau West 61-38. The senior sharpshooter had a game high 25 points for the Hodags. He scored 21 of those from the long ball, connecting on 7 of 8 shots from behind the three-point line.
Owen Hahm, Shoreland Lutheran, senior
Hahm and Shoreland Lutheran secured a 75-43 victory over Catholic Central on Tuesday night. For the senior guard, it was a night of surpassing a career milestone as he tallied 17 points, five rebounds, and six assists. Hahm crossed the 1,000 point mark for his career in the Pacers’ victory.
Andrew Jensen, Kaukauna, senior
Jensen and Kaukauna squared off with Division 1, third-ranked Appleton North and took home a 60-59 victory in thrilling fashion. Above all else, Jensen was nearly unstoppable in this one as the DePaul commit finished with 20 points, 22 rebounds, and 2 blocks. The 6-10 forward also provided the fireworks as he took the inbounds pass with the Galloping Ghosts down one and buried a turn-around mid-range shot at the buzzer to secure the win.
Jack Kohnen, Slinger, junior
Another big-time player making a big-time play in a crunch moment as Slinger took down Whitefish Bay 56-54 in a battle of North Shore foes. Kohnen, one of the top juniors in the country, had the ball with Slinger down one with five seconds left. He took the reversal and pulled form 30-plus feet, burying the would-be game winner for the Owls.
Vedder MacTaggert, Marshfield, senior
Marshfield got a big 91-65 win over Eau Claire North on Tuesday as the senior forward had a career night. MacTaggert finished with a career high 33 points for the Tigers.
Matuta Msafiri, Green Bay East, senior
Msafiri had a great night on the court as he led East to an 89-75 win over Menasha. The senior guard needed to score the ball at the rate he did to get the Red Devils the win. Msafiri finished the game with 38 points.
Port Edwards 47, Almond-Bancroft 46
With 45 seconds left on the clock, Port Edwards was trailing Almond-Bancrfot 46-38. Three Blackhawks’ triples later and a pair of Eagles turnovers, and Port Edwards secured an insane comeback victory. Senior Vinny Striegel hit the final two three-point shots for the Blackhawks, including a 25-footer with 1.5 seconds left on the clock to win it.
Wes Rahn, Lakeside Lutheran, senior
Rahn had a big night as Lakeside Lutheran squared off in one of the top matchups of the evening, taking on Division 3, eighth-ranked Lake Country Lutheran. The senior forward scored a game-high 27 points as the Warriors improved to 3-0 with a 64-57 victory over a ranked Lightning squad.
Logan Ramczyk, Xavier, junior
Ramczyk recorded his second triple-double in four games for the Hawks; an 87-58 win over Omro. The junior combo guard finished with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists as he helped lead Xavier to its fourth win of the year.
Damariye Redmond, Martin Luther, senior
Martin Luther scored a big 86-81 win over Racine St. Cats on Tuesday. The senior leader did a great job of closing the game out down the stretch en route to his 37 points. Redmond finished 15 of 16 from the free throw line. Teammate Noah Tyler finished with 22 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Peyton Ried, Medford, junior
Medford and Menomonie provided another thrilling moment on a Tuesday night that was full of them. With the game tied at 62, Medford had the ball under its own hoop with a chance to win it. Enter Peyton Ried. The junior forward came off a cross screen, received the inbounds pass, and hit the game winning runner for the Raiders.
Brandon Wagner, Turtle Lake, senior
Wagner had a unicorn of a game as Turtle Lake won 85-59 over Shell Lake on Tuesday night. The big man from up north recorded a night statistically that is rarely seen in hoops; a quadruple-double. Wagner finished with 32 points while knocking down six of eleven shots from deep. He added 20 rebounds, 12 assists, and 10 blocks to round out his night.

Bobby Raymond, Wilmot, senior
Raymond dominating the glass on Wednesday night, collecting a double-double as Wilmot got a 65-56 win over Richmond-Burton. The 6-4 senior had 13 points and hauled in a huge 19 rebounds.
Thursday, December 18
Kaleb Colbert, Golda Meir, senior
Colbert was one of two players to hit the 1,000 point mark on Thursday night. The senior guard has been extremely impressive scoring the ball this season, having averaged over 27 points per game. Thursday he had 32 en route to his 1,000 in an 82-76 victory over Milwaukee Washington.
Yusef Gray Jr. and Max Jones, West Allis Central
The guard duo of Gray and Jones were nearly unstoppable as the Bulldogs secured a 93-66 win over Whitnall on Thursday night. Gray Jr, a senior and Iowa State commit, poured in 32 points, eight rebounds, and four assists in the victory. Jones, a highly skilled junior, finished with 26 points, four rebounds, and four assists, while knocking down six of nine shots from deep.
Brennen Hackbarth and Oliver Leibham, Sheboygan Lutheran
Sheboygan Lutheran tallied a 92-69 win over Sheboygan Falls behind the strong play of its senior leader and junior point guard. Hackbarth, a St. Norbert recruit, poured in a game high 38 points and 10 rebounds for the Crusaders. Leibham, the junior lead guard, also recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists.
Milwaukee Lutheran
The Red Knights were down seven with 45 seconds left in the game. They were down five with 15 seconds left, and down one with 4.9 seconds remaining. However, a couple steals, some missed Hustlin’ Hawks free throws, and Milwaukee Lutheran came away with an 88-87 improbable victory. The final play of the game saw Khader Diabate steal the inbound pass, make a great pass to Lusine Bility who hit the game-winning layup.
Taylor Williams, Lancaster, senior
Lancaster was impressive on Thursday, as the Flying Arrows won 84-53 over Platteville in an emphatic victory in the SWC conference. Williams was a key to that victory, scoring 17 points and adding 10 rebounds, and in doing so surpassed a career milestone. Late in the game, Williams hit a mid-range jumper, something he has done time and again over the last four seasons. That shot put Williams over 1,000 points, just the fourth Lancaster boys hooper to do so.
Zavier Zens, Wisconsin Lutheran, senior
Wisconsin Lutheran wins. Zavier Zens dominates. Rinse. Repeat. That was the story Thursday night in a 92-71 win over Waukesha South. The Vikings feel to be a head above any team they step on the court with and Zens is a big reason why. The Northern Iowa recruit finished with 35 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists, coming just two assists shy of a triple-double.

Robbie Angiulli, Wausau East, senior
The senior forward had a moment he won’t forget anytime soon as Wausau East knocked off Wisconsin Valley conference foe Wisconsin Rapids 73-70 in overtime. Tied at 70, Angiulli took the sideline inbound pass, squared to the rim, and buried a 25-footer to win it at the buzzer. He finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists.
Sam Fait, Catholic Central, junior
Fait is averaging over 31 points per game through the early part of the season, but his output on Friday night improved that number. The junior wing poured in 44 points in a 72-52 victory over Faith Christian.
Owen Hahm, Shoreland Lutheran, senior
Earlier this week, Hahm surpassed 1,000 points in his prep career. Friday night, he recorded a triple-double as Shoreland Lutheran beat St. Augustine Prep 63-49. Hahm finished with 14 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Henderson Brothers of Rib Lake
Jed (Class of 2026) and Blake (Class of 2028) are brothers that play for their father Todd at Rib Lake. Friday in an 82-48 win over Phillips, the brothers both recorded double-doubles showing their prowess in both scoring and rebounding. Jed had 20 points and 17 rebounds, while younger brother Blake added 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Amare Hereford, Beloit Memorial, senior
Night in and night out Hereford is having noteworthy performances while leading the Purple Knights to victories. Friday in a 90-52 win over Westosha Central, the senior lead guard poured in 41 points and added 10 rebounds, 6 assists, and 7 steals on defense.
Colton Larsen, Brillion, junior
Larsen had a career night as he led Brillion to a 76-43 win over New Holstein. The 6-4 junior paced the Lions with 31 points and added 11 rebounds in the victory.
Dawson Luther, Pittsville, senior
Luther had a herculean effort as he led Pittsville to a 68-66 win over Greenwood/Granton. The senior leader had 31 points and 10 rebounds, needing all of that production in the victory. Luther also added three assists and three blocks.
Lucas Neuens, Lourdes Academy, junior
Neuens buried six of ten shots from deep as Lourdes took home a 66-39 win over Valley Christian. That shooting performance led him to 33 points, a game high, in the Knights’ victory.
Wes Rahn, Lakeside Lutheran, senior
Rahn was dominant in most facets of the game as Lakeside beat New Glarus 74-65 in a Capitol crossover matchup. The senior big man and Minnesota Duluth recruit finished with a game high 33 points, but also collected a massive 19 rebounds for the Warriors.
Logan Ramcyzk, Xavier, junior
One of the better matchups of the night was Xavier and Plymouth, a game that saw the Hawks come away victorious 88-77. Ramczyk paved the way for Coach Klarner’s group. He poured in 33 points while knocking down 7 of 11 shots from deep. He added 9 rebounds and 4 assists.
Riley Schultz-Becker, Athens, senior
Schultz-Becker was instrumental in leading the Fighting Bluejays to an 88-82 victory over Abbotsford. The senior, and 1,000 point scorer, had a game high 33 points while adding 14 rebounds.
Jakari Smith, Milwaukee Bradley Tech, senior
Smith is one of the better unsigned seniors in the state, and recently surpassed a career milestone in Bradley Tech’s 56-52 win over West Bend East. Smith poured in a game high 26 points and in doing so, crossed 1,000 points for his career.
Will Verkuilen, Shawano, junior
Verkuilen had a monster game as he led Shawano to an 82-69 win over Clintonville on Friday night. The 5-11 junior guard had a career high 44 points for the Hawks, knocking down 7 of 13 shots from deep.
Brock Walser, Badger, senior
Walser and Badger got an 80-51 win over Wilmot on Friday night. Walser recently gave a commitment to UW-Platteville for football and then in this victory, showed his career prowess on the hardwood. He crossed the 1,000 point mark in the Badgers win.

Saturday, December 20
Donovan Davis, Freedom, junior
One of the top players in the state continued his dominance this season, this time leading Freedom to a 71-49 win over Stoughton at the 60Eight Basketball Tournament. The 6-9 junior finished with 22 points and 14 rebounds at Madison College.
Gio Green, Homestead, senior
Homestead took home a win at the Win Parkinson Invite a day after knocking off North Shore foe Slinger. Green led the way for the Highlanders, finishing with 22 points and 10 rebounds in the 91-79 victory over Audubon Tech.
Tyler Kowal, Onalaska, sophomore
Onalaska and Aquinas squared off for the first of two times in Mississippi Valley Conference play on Saturday night. The Hilltoppers took home the win 77-68 as the sophomore Kowal brother played extremely well. Tyler finished with 28 points in the victory, a game high.
Ben Pritzl, DeForest, freshman
With sophomore and leading scorer Jayden Doedens out for Saturday’s contest with Edgerton, Pritzl stepped up his scoring output, though Edgerton came away with the 80-65 victory. The freshman scored 20 points for the first time.
Carter Syverson, Wisconsin Dells, senior
It’s been an up and down season for Wisconsin Dells early on, as the Chiefs now sit at 2-2 after a 73-63 win over Baraboo. Syverson made sure to get the Dells in the ‘W’ column, finishing with 27 points, 6 rebounds, and added 5 steals on the defensive side of the ball.
Arlon Walter, Kickapoo, senior
Walter was dominant to say the least, especially in the first half of a non-conference matchup with Luther. Kickapoo built a 20-point lead early into the second half and a lot of that had to do with Walter’s ability to score in the post-up, transition, and off the pick and roll. He finished with 24 points, double-digit rebounds, and a handful of blocks as Kickapoo knocked off Luther 64-61.
