Monday, February 9
Brody Edwards, Bangor, senior
Edwards had a big game scoring the ball as Bangor took home a 99-70 Coulee conference win over Black River Falls. The senior poured in a new high of 38 points in the win for the Cardinals
Maddix Gulseth, Roncalli, junior
Gulseth had a big night as he led Roncalli to a win over Little Chute in the EWC/North Eastern Challenge. The junior, who is playing without running mate Donovan Cowley, scored 31 points for the Jets.
Lucas Hansen, Hayward, senior
It was a night of records and milestones in Hayward on Monday. The Hurricanes offense scored a new school record 111 points in a 111-78 win over Cameron, a team Hayward trailed in the Heart O’North standings by a game coming into. Hansen also had a career night, pouring in a new high of 41 points for the Hurricanes, and in the process he joined the 1,000 point club.
Mike Gaier
Coach Gaier hit a coaching milestone on Monday night as Neillsville secured a 57-47 win over Stratford. The Warrior win was number 200 for Gaier in his prep coaching career.
Pacelli
It’s been a week of madness for Pacelli as just last Monday the Cardinals won on a buzzer beater, only to replicate that chaos again this Monday. Tied at 46, Bryce Flaker took a handoff, jabbed, and buried a 25-foot three-point shot at the buzzer to give Pacelli a 49-46 win over Tri-County, a game that has huge implications on conference standings and possible playoff seeding.
Hayden Redington, Berlin, senior
Berlin was tied with Adams-Friendship at one game back of Mauston in the South Central standings coming into this win. Redington made sure the Indians stayed one game back of Mauston following Monday night. The senior big man finished with 32 points on 11 of 16 shooting from the floor as Berlin won 60-50 over the Green Devils. Redington added nine points, four assists, two blocks, and two steals to fill the stat sheet.
Nick Stellrecht, New Richmond, senior
Stellrecht had a monster double-double as New Richmond pulled even with River Falls in second place and two games back of Hudson in the Big Rivers conference. Three days after falling to River Falls by four, New Richmond won emphatically 78-61. Stellrecht poured in 22 points, 16 rebounds, and 4 assists for the Tigers in their victory.

Colton Wilson serves a contributor and member of Bound Wisconsin. Wilson has worked in high school sports for 10 years, covering the state of Wisconsin in various sports.
