Berlin BBB
Berlin won an 83-61 win over Weyauwega-Fremont in a non-conference game, as Hayden Redington and Carter Hess combined for 45 points. On Thursday, the Indians handed Mauston its first conference loss in dominating fashion, 72-46. Redington scored 28 points with 11 rebounds as the Indians moved to a game behind Mauston in the South Central standings.

Drummond BBB
Drummond won three games last week, two of them conference, to move into solo possession of first place in the Northern Lights Conference. The Lumberjacks took down Mellen 55-47, then defeated a very good Webster squad 53-38 in non-conference play. Finally, they downed Mercer 63-27 as they’ve now won nine in a row.


Solon Springs GBB
Solon Springs won a pair of conference games then had a nice showing in a showcase event on Saturday. The Eagles had no trouble with Washburn in a 63-19 win. With a 69-29 win against Butternut, the second place team in the Northern Lights, Solon Springs now has a 2.5 lead in the standings. Claire Beerntsen had 30 points and 14 rebounds. On Saturday, they beat a larger Somerset squad 68-61.

Wauwatosa East GBB
In the game of the year in Wisconsin so far this season, Wauwatosa East and Arrowhead put on a show deserving of a number one versus number two matchup. The game went to overtime, but Tosa East controlled things in the extra period en route to a 76-66 victory. Mikaia Litza led four players in double figures with 25 points for head coach Mary Merg. Later in the week, the Red Raiders defeated crosstown rival Wauwatosa West 83-26.

Travis Wilson serves as the Bound Wisconsin Manager. Wilson was selected as part of the Sports 40 Under 40 list by Coach & AD Magazine and the National High School Athletic Coaches Association for 2019. The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) named Travis the 2015 recipient of the Dave McClain Distinguished Service Award. He currently serves on the WFCA Executive Board and is a member of the Executive Board of the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association. A graduate of Richland Center High School and Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Travis was a three-sport athlete in high school (football, baseball, basketball), inducted to the Richland Center High School Hall of Fame in 2023, and currently resides in Reedsburg.
