It is time to take a look at this week’s Bound Wisconsin/Zaleski Sports Boys Basketball Media Poll. Voting is conducted by a panel of statewide media members.

Division 1

Wisconsin Lutheran remains the undisputed unanimous number one team in the Bound Wisconsin/Zaleski Sports Division 1 Media Poll. West Allis Central keeps on keeping on right behind, as the Bulldogs continue to stack up impressive wins, the latest against Iowa’s second-ranked team Waukee Northwest. Kaukauna is down a couple spots after a loss against Appleton North. Surprisingly, the Lightning are not ranked despite ten straight wins. Middleton enters to replace Arrowhead.

Division 2

Onalaska suffered its first loss of the year against Aquinas and it drops the Hilltoppers out of the top spot, down to third. In a bit of a surprise, Port Washington leap-frogged Slinger to take over the number one position. West De Pere drops out this week, with West Salem coming in at number ten.

Division 3

Seymour stays atop the Division 3 rankings this week, though there are plenty of changes behind them. Racine St. Catherine’s is down three spots to fifth, with Freedom up to second and Racine Lutheran third. Aquinas took down previously undefeated Onalaska but fell to McFarland over the weekend, ultimately leading to a net move of one spot lower. Osceola enters the poll, with Stanley-Boyd falling out.

Division 4

Kewaunee moves just ahead of Milwaukee Juneau to grab the top spot in D4. Marathon and Lomira are up one spot in the top five with Bonduel dropping a couple positions. Manitowoc Lutheran and Hurley re-enter the poll while Howards Grove and Osseo-Fairchild fall out.

Division 5

A change in Division 5 as well, with Reedsville’s victory over Kickapoo on Saturday leading to the Panthers of Reedsville jumping from fourth to first this week, narrowly ahead of the Panthers of Kickapoo. Sheboygan Lutheran and North Crawford drop out of the top five, with Tigerton among the high risers, going up four spots to fourth. Prentice and Royall move into the rankings, with Oakfield and Southwestern dropping out.
