Division 1
Arrowhead remains atop the Division 1 Bound Wisconsin Coaches Poll, as the Warhawks defeated D2 ranked Waukesha West to open Classic Eight Conference play. Hamilton went down to Brookfield East in a surprise, and the Chargers dip from second to sixth this week. B’East moves into the rankings for the first time, all the way up to fifth. Franklin slides up to second, while Badger jumps from fifth to third, just ahead of Waunakee. With Brookfield East moving into the poll, unbeaten Kenosha Bradford drops out, just outside the top ten.
Division 2
Not much for changes in the Division 2 rankings this week, as Notre Dame continues to sit at number one, though West De Pere did gain some ground. Monona Grove’s 14-13 overtime defeat against Waunakee led the Silver Eagles to fall just one spot to tenth this week. Waukesha West falls out after a loss to Arrowhead, with Oshkosh North moving into the poll for the first time.
Division 3
Catholic Memorial is the number one team in Division 3, but a couple top five losses shook things up. Pewaukee went down to Muskego to begin the Classic Eight Conference schedule, as the Pirates fall from third to seventh. Reedsburg lost to La Crosse Central, dropping the Beavers four spots to number eight this week. Onalaska and Menomonie drop out after losses, with New Berlin West and Edgewood entering the poll.
Division 4
Racine St. Catherine’s was short-handed last week due to a number of suspensions stemming from an on-field incident in Week 2 against Milwaukee Academy of Science, and the Angels were beaten soundly as a result by Brown Deer. It drops St. Cat’s out of the top spot and down to sixth this week. Winneconne moves into the number one spot, followed in the top five by Aquinas, Baldwin-Woodville, Lake Mills, and Columbus. West Salem re-enters the poll as Lodi drops out.
Division 5
Not a lot of changes in Division 5 this week, especially towards the top. In fact, the top five remains unchanged, with Northwestern occupying the number one position, followed by Amherst, Lake Country Lutheran, Grantsburg, and Mayville. Stratford finally got in the win column last week, but a 1-2 record still dropped the defending champions a few spots to ninth. Clinton is new to the poll this week, replacing Lancaster.
Division 6
Another division with stability, especially in the top portion. Edgar remains a strong favorite in the coaches voting, with the rest of the top five unchanged as well, featuring Regis, Darlington, Mondovi, and defending champion Lomira. Manitowoc Lutheran and Waterloo are new to the poll, with Weyauwega-Fremont and Auburndale dropping out of the rankings.
Division 7
No losses by ranked teams last week means very little change. Potosi/Cassville stays at number one, though Kenosha St. Joseph received a good amount of support. Black Hawk/Warren (IL) leapfrogs Boyceville for third, while everyone else in the poll remains in the same spot as last week.
8-Player
Gilman finally allowed points against Frederic last week, but a 48-12 victory kept the Pirates easily atop the rankings this week. McDonell Central is second in the 8-Player Coaches Poll on Bound Wisconsin, followed in the top five by Oakfield, North Crawford, and Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas. Belmont, Hurley, and Flambeau move into the rankings, while losses by Newman Catholic, Siren, and Athens suffered losses and drop out this week.
