Bound Wisconsin Week 4 Football Team of the Week Nominees

Germantown Warhawks
Brookfield East was coming off a big win over Hamilton last week and had jumped into the top five of the Bound Wisconsin Division 1 Coaches Poll. Friday was much different for the Spartans, as Germantown pulled away in the second half for a 36-3 victory. Vinny Inga was excellent for the Warhawks, throwing for 274 yards and four touchdowns while adding 103 yards on 13 carries as well.

Hudson Raiders
Hudson was just outside the top ten in last week’s Coaches Poll, but the Raiders are likely to make a move into the rankings this week after a 24-21 win over D2 #4 New Richmond in a huge Big Rivers Conference showdown. Benjamin Englund had a pair of interceptions, including the game-sealing pick with under a minute remaining.

Little Chute Mustangs
Little Chute announced their entrance to the North Eastern Conference race this year, holding off defending league champion Freedom 13-7 on Friday night. It wasn’t easy or pretty necessarily, but the Mustangs ground out 192 rushing yards on 49 attempts in their option offense. The defense limited Freedom to just 13 yards on the ground and just 180 yards overall.

Luxemburg-Casco Spartans
In another key North Eastern Conference game, Luxemburg-Casco defeated last year’s Division 5 runner-up Wrightstown 21-3 behind a strong effort on both sides of the ball. Junior quarterback Eli Derenne was extremely efficient, completing 8-of-11 passes for 102 yards, adding 13 carries for 88 yards and a touchdown on the ground as well.

Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers
Manitowoc Lutheran remained undefeated and showed they will be a force in the Big East Conference, defeating Cedar Grove-Belgium 47-14, ending a 13-game league winning streak for the Rockets. The Lancers had 414 yards of offense, including 222 through the air from Jaymen ott. Brody Weiting returned an interception for a touchdown as part of a strong defensive performance.
