Division 1
Big change in the Division 1 Bound Wisconsin Coaches Poll this week, as Arrowhead’s loss to Muskego last week caused the Warhawks to drop out of the number one position, down to fourth this week. Franklin ascends to the top of the rankings, followed by Badger. Muskego leaps up to third this week.
Division 2
Not much for changes in Division 2, including the top six remaining the same as last week. Notre Dame stays at number one, but West De Pere, Rice Lake, and Homestead all got plenty of support as well. Milton suffered a loss to Monona Grove, as the Red Hawks fall out of the poll this week, replaced by undefeated Union Grove.
Division 3
Catholic Memorial is the top-ranked Division 3 team once again in the Bound Wisconsin Coaches Poll, with Grafton, Plymouth, and Mount Horeb/Barneveld just behind. Edgewood jumps up to third this week, with La Crosse Logan’s narrow loss to rival La Crosse Central dropping the Rangers two spots to seventh. Reedsburg moves out of the rankings after a 22-21 loss to Holmen, while Fox Valley Lutheran also drops out. Pewaukee and Whitnall move into the rankings this week.
Division 4
Not a single change in the Division 4 poll this week, as all ten teams from Week 4’s rankings scored victories. Aquinas remains the number one team, though Winneconne, Baldwin-Woodville, and Lake Mills are all undefeated and looking very good as well.
Division 5
There weren’t a lot of changes in Division 5 this week, especially at the top of the rankings. Northwestern is number one, with the top five once again featuring Amherst, Grantsburg, Mayville, and Tomahawk. Durand-Arkansaw went down a couple spots after losing to Regis, while River Valley debuts in the rankings following Clinton losing and dropping out.
Division 6
Edgar remains atop the Division 6 poll, with the rest of the top five unchanged from last week: Regis, Darlington, Mondovi, and Cambridge. Chetek-Weyerhaeuser makes a big jump from tenth to sixth this week. Saint Mary’s Springs lost for a second time this season and dips to tenth, while Fennimore and Loyal/Greenwood also fall out after losses. Markesan and Lomira move in this week.
Division 7
Kenosha St. Joseph continues to be the favorite in Division 7, though Potosi/Cassville is not far behind. The rest of the top six remains the same from last week. Hilbert drops out after a blowout loss to Cedar Grove-Belgium, with Coleman entering at tenth this week.
8-Player
Gilman took down McDonell Central in a number one versus number two battle, and the Pirates stay atop the 8-player rankings. Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas is up to second, while McDonell Central drops just one spot to third. Valley Christian moves into the rankings this week after Algoma drops out.
