BOUND WISCONSIN WEEK 6 FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINEES

Gannon Bagstad, Edgewood
Edgewood defeated Lakeside Lutheran 49-34 on Friday, with some huge plays in the passing game making a difference for the Crusaders. Senior quarterback Gannon Bagstad completed 13-of-19 passes for 291 yards and three touchdowns, averaging more than 22 yards per completion. Bagstad also ran for 64 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries.

Garrett Crull, McFarland
McFarland won a shootout over Monroe on Friday night, as the Spartans just kept scoring en route to a 55-44 win. The Spartans rolled up 554 yards of offense, including 339 passing yards from junior quarterback Garrett Crull, who completed 29-of-48 passes with six touchdowns.

Jordan Garcia, Waukesha South
Waukesha South defeated rival Waukesha North 25-14 on Friday night, as junior quarterback Jordan Garcia provided plenty of firepower for the Blackshirts. Garcia completed 16-of-22 passes for 269 yards, and while he did not throw any touchdowns, he had four short rushing scores among his 41 yards on the ground, accounting for all four South scores. He also had an interception on defense and handled the punting.

Kobe Hendricks, Slinger
Slinger won a shootout with Whitefish Bay 56-39 on Friday night, putting up nearly 500 total yards. The bulk of that came from senior running back Kobe Hendricks, who carried the ball 20 times for 316 yards and six touchdowns for the Owls, as the defending state champions move to 5-1 on the season.

Treve Stoffel, Mosinee
An other previously unbeaten top five team to fall in Week 6 was Tomahawk, the fifth-ranked team in Division 5 entering the week. However, Mosinee spoiled things with a 21-14 victory over the Hatchets, with Treve Stoffel completing 13-of-17 passes for 236 yards and two scores. He’d add a rushing touchdown as well plus a fumble recovery and 18 tackles, 13 of them solo.
