New Berlin Eisenhower claimed its first WIAA baseball state title in dramatic fashion last year, winning in a walk-off over Seymour. The Lions are back to defend their title against a hungry group of teams that includes Seymour but also defending D3 state champion Kenosha St. Joseph. Eisenhower brings back a good amount of production from last year, including seniors Caleb Johns, Mason Jones, Josh Bonin, Collin Harrington, and Charlie Wait.
Whitnall, Kenosha St. Joseph, Seymour, and Reedsburg were chosen as the remainder of the top five in the preseason by the coaches.
Below are the full WBCA Preseason Coaches Poll rankings published and courtesy of the Baseball Wisconsin Yearbook. The 2026 book is the 34th edition, 316 pages in length, and in full color.
