Monday, January 19

Aidan Lisowski, Cochrane-Fountain City, junior

Lisowski had himself a moment as CFC captured a 52-51 win over Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran in thrilling, buzzer-beating fashion. The strong junior forward hauled in a rebound right before the buzzer and laid in the game-winning shot as time expired to give the Pirates the victory. He finished with 16 points, 16 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Logan Rouse, Menomonee Falls, senior

Menomonee Falls has been on a tear of late, rattling off five straight victories including one over Brookfield Central on Thursday night. However, in Tuesday’s 90-57 win over Saint Thomas More, Rouse poured in a double-double to lead the Phoenix. He finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the victory.

Griffin Schultz, Union Grove, senior

Schultz joined the 1,000 point club on Tuesday as Union Grove got win number eight on the year in a 79-47 win over South Milwaukee. Schultz finished with a team high 26 points for the Broncos and added four rebounds to boot.

Tuesday, January 20

Will Akins, Auburndale, junior

Akins had a huge night as Auburndale topped Providence Academy 74-60. The junior put up a career high 40 points in the victory for the Eagles, while adding 14 rebounds, resulting in a huge double-double.

Graysen Becker, Altoona, junior

Becker is an extremely skilled junior in our state that can score at all three levels. Tuesday night he surpassed the 1,000 point mark halfway through his junior season. Becker finished with 31 points in the Railroaders 82-70 victory over Medford.

Mason Bobholz, Fall River, freshman

Bobholz has been a bright spot for the Fall River basketball team this season and on Tuesday he was the catalyst in the 51-39 win over Cambria-Friesland. Bobholz’ stat line in the victory was 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 blocks.

Brody Graetz, River Falls, senior

Graetz was an elite playmaker with the ball in his hands as he led River Falls to a 75-44 win over Rice Lake. The senior guard finished with 17 points and more impressively 16 assists for the Wildcats. He added three rebounds and six steals in the win.

Jace Mataczynski, Hudson, senior

Mataczynski was a field goal of a 40-point outburst as Hudson secured an 84-78 win over New Richmond. The senior guard and multi-sport athlete finished with 38 points and 8 rebounds in the win.

Jake Farley, Saint Thomas Aquinas, junior

Farley had a monster double-double in a 71-62 victory over Niagara. The junior, who has been scoring at a high rate finished with 48 points and 12 rebounds. He was feeling it from deep, connecting on 7 of 15 shots from beyond the arc.

Nathan Kabelowsky, Kettle Moraine Lutheran, senior

Kabelowsky had an extremely efficient 33 point scoring day in the Chargers’ 68-57 win over West Bend West. The senior was 11 of 14 shooting from the field and 5 of 6 from three, as his shot selection was great for head coach Joshua Lindner.

Jackson Konichek, Seneca, senior

Like Kabelowsky listed above, Konichek was nearly perfect from the floor as Seneca beat Weston 88-51. The senior diced the Silver Eagles zone to the tune of 33 points on 12 of 14 shooting.

Lee Rabas, Neenah

Coach Rabas is one of the most respected coaches in the state and has won at a high rate in one of the toughest conferences in the state, the FVA. Tuesday night Neenah won 72-57 over Stevens Point. For Coach Rabas, that was number 300 in his tenure.

Jackson Scholey, Belleville, senior

Scholey was a bright offensive spot for a Belleville squad that struggled to score in a 55-35 loss to New Glarus. The quick lead guard finished with 26 points in the loss, and in doing so, surpassed 1,000 points in his prep career.

Tom Uppena, Darlington

Uppena has won a lot of games over the years and on Tuesday, he hit 200 career wins as Darlington knocked off Southwestern 70-41. One of the best coaching families in the state, Tom’s father Dennis amassed over 400 career wins while his brothers Mark, Mike and Scott all coach in the state.

Brock Walser, Badger, senior

Walser had an incredibly impressive night scoring the ball in Badger’s 107-51 win over Racine Horlick. The senior forward outscored the Rebels on his own in this one, finishing with 52 points on 20 of 27 shooting from the field. Walser added eight rebounds and seven steals to boot.

Wednesday, January 21

Xavier Allen, Milwauke Lutheran, senior

Allen became the third player in the state to join the 1,000 point club this week as he helped the Red Knights to an 80-74 win over Shorewood.

Milwaukee Juneau

The guard duo of Takis Tyler (2026) and Dooney Johnson (2027) were electric in Juneau’s 86-61 win over Milwaukee King. Johnson, a Gonzaga recruit, had a triple double with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists while being a menace on the defensive side with six steals and five blocks. Tyler made 9 of 15 shots from deep and poured in 35 points in the victory.

Thursday, January 22

James Brady, Tigerton, junior

Brady filled the stat sheet as Tigerton won 86-31 over Stockbridge. The big man with smooth footwork finished with 30 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 blocks.

Cahlil Jones, Germantown, senior

Jones, a human highlight reel at times, was integral to the Warhawks’ 70-66 win over a red hot Wauwatosa East squad. Jones finished with 32 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists in the victory.

Peyton Pica, Wautoma, senior

Pica needed to have a big day on Thursday and did just that as Wautoma secured a 74-64 win over Westfield. Pica finished with 32 points and 7 rebounds for the Hornets.

Delvito Velazquez, Messmer, junior

Velazquez had a second straight solid game, leading to an 81-73 victory over Kingdom Prep Lutheran on Thursday. The junior combo guard finished with 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists for the Bishops.

James Visocky, SJNMA, junior

Visocky was on fire from deep and had a career night as SJNMA beat Kenosha Christian Life 77-45. The junior guard had 32 points in the win, going six of ten from beyond the arc.
