Regis junior EllaMay Cooper is one of the top returning scorers in the state, averaging 24.2 points per game for the Ramblers last season

A talented group of girls basketball players returns for the 2025-26 season, and over the next few days we’ll take a look at some of the top returners in several stats categories. Up first is scoring, as last season produced some outstanding performers.

The top returning scorer based on points per game is Messmer junior Destiny Weaver. Last season she averaged 29.2 points per game for the Bishops.

In total points, Arrowhead senior Natalie Kussow leads the way with 763 last year, averaging 26.3 points per game. The Minnesota Gophers commit led the Warhawks to the Division 1 state tournament last season.

The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) named Travis the 2015 recipient of the Dave McClain Distinguished Service Award.
