The 2025-26 high school girls basketball season was certainly one for the record books, as a number of players have etched their names in history.
The single-game, single-season, and career scoring records lists have all been updated by the WBCA following completion of the 2025-26 campaign.
Below are highlights and updates based on new entries for this year.
Single-Game Scoring Leaders
There are four new entries this year on the single-game scoring list, which track those that have scored at least 45 points in a game.
In early December, Madison La Follette sophomore Nyajuacni Riak poured in 50 points for the Lancers, the most in the 2025-26 campaign and tied for 38th in state history. She made 20-of-28 shots from the field, including four-of-seven shots from behind the three-point line to go with all six free throws in the 90-42 win over Janesville Parker. She also had 21 rebounds in that one.
Wisconsin Dells senior Ashiya Hopkins was red-hot from deep in a 104-19 win over Wautoma in a late-season South Central Conference contest. She made 11-of-19 three-pointers in the game and 17-of-27 overall. She went four-for-five from the free throw line. Her point total ties for 52nd on the state’s scoring list.
Junior EllaMay Cooper of Regis and senior Adaline Sheplee of Rice Lake each scored 45 points in a game this year.
Season Scoring Records
With more games than ever and more game time than ever thanks to recent rules changes, it is no surprise that the single-season record book continues to see new entries every year.
Arrowhead senior Natalie Kussow was recognized as the WBCA Ms. Basketball this year after leading the Warhawks to a Division 1 state title. She scored 813 points on the year, which ranks 12th on the state’s single-season scoring list.
Not far behind in 13th place is Rice Lake senior Adaline Sheplee, who scored 809 points in the 2025-26 season.
Lomira sophomore Josie Christian, Shawano senior Leah Nordin, and Stevens Point junior Jada Seubert also found spots on the list based on their 2025-26 scoring totals.
Career Scoring Records
Like the single-season scoring list, the state's career scoring list has been re-written in recent season with more games and additional minutes added in over the years. A total of 22 players added their name to or moved up the all-time scoring list, which includes all those with at least 1600 career points.
Leading the way is Arrowhead senior Natalie Kussow, who ranks fifth on the career scoring list with 2,793 points for the Warhawks.
Kussow is one of an impressive seven players who eclipsed 2000 career points this year. Shawano senior Leah Nordin moves into 15th place with 2,421 career points. Leading Oostburg to a second consecutive Division 3 state title, Ady Ketterhagen finished her brilliant prep career with 2,308 points (22nd). Kylie Butler of Argyle/Pecatonica is 27th with 2,185 career points. Rice Lake’s Adaline Sheplee is 30th with 2,171 points. Samantha Davis of Aquinas is one spot behind at 31st with 2,167 career points. Finally, Rory Salvesen of Wittenberg-Birnamwood ends her career with 2,068 points.
A couple underclass players have put their names on the list already. Junior Jada Seubert of Stevens Point has 1,775 points through three seasons with the Panthers. Regis junior EllaMay Cooper is up to 1,684 career points for the Ramblers.
