
Five repeat selections highlight the 2026 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Division 2 All-State Team: Jalen Brown of Wauwatosa West, Caden Gustafson of Waterford, Jack Kohnen of Slinger, Josh Manchester of Mount Horeb, and Kayden Schultz of Plymouth.
Brown is just a junior but repeats on the First Team All-State list. A central figure on last year’s state championship squad, he averaged 20.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 2.9 steals per game this season for Wauwatosa West. Brown was named the Player of the Year in the Greater Metro Conference.
Gustafson led Waterford to a share of the Southern Lakes Conference this season, finishing as the school’s all-time leading scorer as a four-year varsity performer. He averaged 22.1 points per game, adding 6.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.3 steals per contest as well.
Jack Kohnen of Slinger helped the Owls to a Division 2 state runner-up finish this year as a junior. He averaged 20.6 points per game to lead Slinger, also pulling down 11.1 rebounds per contest while dishing out 4.7 assists per game. He was named the Player of the Year in the North Shore Conference.
Josh Manchester went over 2,000 career points very early in his senior season and was a finalist for Mr. Basketball. He averaged better than 30 points per game in his senior campaign, connecting on more than 45% of his three-point attempts with range all over the court.
Schultz finished his career with a school-record 2,328 points as a four-year varsity standout. The repeat All-State selection was named the Player of the Year in the Glacier Trails as a senior when he averaged 26./8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.
Zavier Castillo was a consistent scoring option for Greendale this season. Shooting better than 50% from the field, he averaged 25.4 points per game, while also recording 5.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest.
Rashaad Davis appeared in a pair of state tournaments early in his career and grew into a leader as he advanced to his senior season. This year for the Knights he averaged just over 20 points per game, adding 5.2 assists, and 2.2 steals per contest as well.
Henry Gruetzmacher from Brookfield Central has shown continued improvement over the course of his career, culminating in a big senior campaign. He led the team in most categories, averaging a double-double this year with 23.5 points and 11.3 rebounds per game.
Matthew Kloskey helped Wauwatosa West to the 2025 state title in Division 2, and was the team’s leading scorer this season. The senior post player averaged 23.6 points per game this year as well as 7.2 rebounds per contest.
Joey Kohnen from Slinger was a key figure in helping the Owls to a Division 2 state runner-up finish. The talented sophomore teamed with older brother Jack to form a tough duo to stop. Joey averaged 15.7 points per game this year with 4.0 rebounds per game.
Eli Krueger stepped into the spotlight in a big way this year for McFarland, who advanced to the Division 2 state tournament. The 6’9” junior averaged a team-best 18.8 points and 10.3 rebounds per game for head coach Jeff Meinholdt, posting 26 points in the state semi-final.
Cal Loose from Port Washington was the catalyst for a Port Washington team that went 25-2 this year, winning an outright Glacier Trails Conference championship. The 6’2” senior led the way with 17.3 points per game, adding 4.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.4 steals per game as well.

Travis Wilson serves as the Bound Wisconsin Manager. Wilson was selected as part of the Sports 40 Under 40 list by Coach & AD Magazine and the National High School Athletic Coaches Association for 2019. The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) named Travis the 2015 recipient of the Dave McClain Distinguished Service Award. He currently serves on the WFCA Executive Board and is a member of the Executive Board of the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association. A graduate of Richland Center High School and Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Travis was a three-sport athlete in high school (football, baseball, basketball), inducted to the Richland Center High School Hall of Fame in 2023, and currently resides in Reedsburg.
