Bound Wisconsin Basketball Team of the Week - Feb. 9-15

Beloit Memorial BBB
Beloit Memorial won a pair of huge games to get into a share of the Southern Lakes Conference lead. The Purple Knights downed Westosha Central 76-60 behind 29 points from senior star Amare Hereford. The big one was an 83-68 win over Waterford, who had been the league leader coming in. Hereford had 31 points while JJ Martin chipped in with 18 and Brock Hodges added 17 points.

Fall Creek BBB
Fall Creek went 3-0 last week to take over sole possession of first place in the Cloverbelt-West. A 77-51 non-conference win over Augusta opened things. On Tuesday, head coach Rick Storlie’s crew defeated rival Regis 63-56 to knock the Ramblers out of first place. The Crickets closed the week with a 67-52 victory over Bloomer.

Laconia GBB
Laconia opened its three-game week in the best way, defeating D4 #1 Saint Mary Catholic 78-73 on Monday. The good vibes continued in a 68-35 victory over Saint Mary’s Springs, led by a 26-point effort from junior Finley Morgan. They had no trouble in an 84-24 win over Campbellsport to close the week.


Plymouth BBB

Travis Wilson serves as the Bound Wisconsin Manager. Wilson was selected as part of the Sports 40 Under 40 list by Coach & AD Magazine and the National High School Athletic Coaches Association for 2019. The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) named Travis the 2015 recipient of the Dave McClain Distinguished Service Award. He currently serves on the WFCA Executive Board and is a member of the Executive Board of the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association. A graduate of Richland Center High School and Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Travis was a three-sport athlete in high school (football, baseball, basketball), inducted to the Richland Center High School Hall of Fame in 2023, and currently resides in Reedsburg.
