
Rita Kuepper of Hartford has been selected as the Week 14 Bound Wisconsin Basketball Player of the Week following a statewide vote on BoundWisconsin.com. She helped the Orioles to a pair of wins as the team advanced into sectional play. She was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 14. A total of 1,735 votes were cast, as Kuepper’s 838 were enough to edge out second place Kaitlyn Schuman of Brillion, who tallied 321 votes.
Hartford advanced to sectional play with a pair of impressive victories last week. Junior Rita Kuepper went off in a big way, pouring in 29 points with seven steals in a 74-34 opening win over Oshkosh North. Kuepper stayed red-hot against DSHA in a regional final, scoring 34 points as the Orioles won 76-50.
