
It is time to take a look at this week’s Bound Wisconsin/Zaleski Sports Boys Basketball Media Poll. Voting is conducted by a panel of statewide media members.
Division 1
Wisconsin Lutheran is a near unanimous number one selection in this week’s Bound Wisconsin/Zaleski Sports Boys Basketball Media Poll. West Allis Central remains in second, but Madison Memorial tumbles out of the rankings after being third last week following a blowout loss to Verona. Speaking of the Wildcats, they enter the poll at number eight this week.
Division 2
Slinger moves up to the top position in the Division 2 rankings, with Wauwatosa West slipping to third after a last second loss to Waterford. Mount Horeb is up five spots to second this week, as star senior Josh Manchester scored his 2000th career point on Friday night. Nicolet drops a couple spots to sixth this week, while Milwaukee Academy of Science slides five spots. Catholic Memorial and Brookfield Central each dropped a pair of games last week and fall out of the rankings, with Waterford and Whitefish Bay moving in.
Division 3
Racine St. Catherine’s once again narrowly edges crosstown rival Racine Lutheran for the number one position in the Division 3 Bound Wisconisn/Zaleski Sports Media Poll. Freedom, Oostburg, and Aquinas round out the top five this week. Mosinee and Elk Mound drop out of the poll, as Kettle Moraine Lutheran, and Xavier enter.
Division 4
There’s a new number one team in Division 4 this week, with Darlington taking over the top spot after Milwaukee Juneau suffered a loss to West Allis Central and falls to fourth. Roncalli is up to second, with Lomira third. Marathon replaces Regis in this week’s rankings.
Division 5
Columbus Catholic once again occupies the top spot in the Division 5 ranking, though Sheboygan Lutheran slides from second to fourth after going down to Winnebago Lutheran. North Crawford is up to second, with Oakfield rising to the number three position. Rib Lake takes a tumble after dropping its season opener to Marathon, going from fourth to unranked. Royall enters the poll this week after a 3-0 start to the season.

Travis Wilson serves as the Bound Wisconsin Manager. Wilson was selected as part of the Sports 40 Under 40 list by Coach & AD Magazine and the National High School Athletic Coaches Association for 2019. The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) named Travis the 2015 recipient of the Dave McClain Distinguished Service Award. He currently serves on the WFCA Executive Board and is a member of the Executive Board of the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association. A graduate of Richland Center High School and Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Travis was a three-sport athlete in high school (football, baseball, basketball), inducted to the Richland Center High School Hall of Fame in 2023, and currently resides in Reedsburg.
