Bound Wisconsin Basketball Player of the Week - Dec. 15-21

Robbie Angiulli, Wausau East BBB
Robbie Angiulli hit a game-winning three-pointer in overtime to lift Wausau East to a 73-70 win over Wisconsin Rapids on Friday, the first victory of the season for the Lumberjacks. He’d finish with a team-high 22 points to go with 10 rebounds and seven assists in the win.

Avery Glenz, Eleva-Strum GBB
Eleva-Strum is the third-ranked team in Division 5 in the latest Bound Wisconsin/Zaleski Sports Media Poll, and the Cardinals moved to 8-0 with a 68-55 win over Augusta on Friday. Junior Avery Glenz stuffed the stat sheet with 24 points, five rebounds, four assists, and four steals, going over 1000 career points in the game.

Owen Hahm, Shoreland Lutheran BBB
Shoreland Lutheran senior Owen Hahm went over 1000 career points in a 75-43 win against Catholic Central last Tuesday. He scored 18 points to go with seven assists and five rebounds. Hahm would then add a triple-double with 14 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists on Friday as the Pacers defeated St. Augustine Prep 63-49.

Kyrin Lile, Elkhorn GBB
Elkhorn went 3-0 last week with a pair of league victories plus a nice non-conference win. First, they took down Waterford 62-48, as Kyrin Lile had 23 points and eight rebounds. In a 53-23 win over perennial Southern Lakes Conference power Union Grove, Lile recorded a triple-double with 17 points, 18 rebounds, and 10 assists, along with five blocks and four steals. The Elks also defeated Waukesha West on Saturday.

Chelinda Spector, Pius XI Catholic GBB
Pius XI Catholic is undefeated and the top-ranked team in the Bound Wisconsin/Zaleski Sports Media Poll in Division 2. The Lady Popes won a trio of games last week. First was a 78-50 conference win over New Berlin West, as Chelinda Spencer poured in 24 points with five assists and three rebounds. Spencer scored a game-high 19 in a 56-49 win over a ranked St. Thomas More squad. In a 49-46 win over a very good Xavier squad, she scored 13 points with five rebounds and three assists.

Travis Wilson serves as the Bound Wisconsin Manager. Wilson was selected as part of the Sports 40 Under 40 list by Coach & AD Magazine and the National High School Athletic Coaches Association for 2019. The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) named Travis the 2015 recipient of the Dave McClain Distinguished Service Award. He currently serves on the WFCA Executive Board and is a member of the Executive Board of the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association. A graduate of Richland Center High School and Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Travis was a three-sport athlete in high school (football, baseball, basketball), inducted to the Richland Center High School Hall of Fame in 2023, and currently resides in Reedsburg.
