Bound Wisconsin Basketball Player of the Week - Dec. 29-Jan. 4

Tessa Bryan, Waunakee GBB

Waunakee hosted one of the better girls basketball holiday events last week, scoring a pair of impressive victories. The Warriors handed Platteville its first loss of the year, 78-55, as junior Tessa Bryan scored a game-high 30 points with 10 rebounds, seven assists, and four steals. In the Ab Nicholas Championship game, Bryan had 30 points, five rebounds, five steals, and three assists in a 68-55 win over Eau Claire Memorial.

Lucas Hansen, Hayward BBB

The Hayward boys basketball team beat Barron 89-79 last Tuesday in a rescheduled game, then knocked off Rice Lake 74-56 on Saturday. Senior Lucas Hansen had 22 points with seven rebounds and six assists in the first game, which he followed up with 34 points and 12 rebounds in the victory over Rice Lake.

Jordan Ohman, Menomonie GBB

Menomonie won a pair of games at its own holiday event last week, downing Merrill 64-24 last Monday followed by a 54-44 victory against Rhinelander on Tuesday. Junior Jordan Ohman scored 13 points with four rebounds, four steals, and three assists in the first game, then really went off in the second game, with 27 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and five steals.

Tyler Tiutczenko, Pewaukee BBB

Pewaukee took home a trio of victories over the holiday break, including an 82-79 win over Dominican on Saturday. Senior Tyler Tiutczenko erupted for 36 points, adding 11 rebounds in the victory.

Jaedyn Zdroik, Pacelli GBB

Pacelli scored a pair of wins at the Sentry Classic over the holiday break, including a 69-22 victory against Amherst last Monday. Junior Jaedyn Zdroik had a huge game for the Cardinals with 25 points, 10 assists, seven steals, and seven rebounds in the victory.
