Remember, there are thousands of games remaining on the schedule this year, with lots of changes ahead in the order, and things will smooth out the more results that are in the system.

DIVISION 1

West De Pere extended its lead in the Division 1 Playoff Matrix with a win over Bay Port in Week 6. Bay Port does hang in to a number one seed, however. Muskego is up to second overall after taking down defending D1 state champion Arrowhead. Kimberly’s win over Appleton North boosts the Papermakers’ playoff chances, while Oshkosh West would be the final qualifier as of today.

DIVISION 2

In Division 2, Union Grove moves up to the top overall seed, while New Richmond, Notre Dame, and Elkhorn would be one-seeds as well. That drops Holmen to a two-seed, though the Vikings have opportunities for big points the next weeks against the La Crosse schools. Homestead’s defeat against Wisconsin Lutheran drops the Highlanders down to a three-seed. Menomonie would be the final qualifier as of right now.

DIVISION 3

Port Washington ascends to the top spot in Division 1 overall, as Pewaukee, La Crosse Logan, and New Berlin West would be the other number one seeds. Losses by New Berlin Eisenhower and Plymouth drop those teams to three seeds. Wisconsin Lutheran took down D2 power Homestead in a Week 6 surprise and the Vikings are a three seed despite a 4-3 record. Catholic Memorial’s close win over Brookfield Central likely ensured a playoff spot for the Crusaders. Pius XI Catholic would be the final qualifier as of right now.

DIVISION 4

Freedom is still a big leader in Division 4, though North Eastern Conference rival Little Chute moves back into the number two overall position after a win over Denmark. West Salem and Stratford are the other number one seeds right now, while Saint Thomas More would be the final qualifier.

DIVISION 5

Another week of changes in Division 5, as Darlington moves just ahead of Racine Lutheran for the top overall position in the division. Amherst and Durand-Arkansaw are the other top seeds. Neillsville/Granton checks in as the final qualifier this week.

DIVISION 6

Bonduel is first overall and Manitowoc Lutheran second this week. Edgar is third, while Mondovi moves back up in the rankings to a one-seed after a dominating 38-0 win over Regis, who drops to a three-seed. Living Word Lutheran would be the final qualifier.

DIVISION 7

Ithaca/Weston is the top overall seed in Division 7, while the other number one seeds are Shiocton, Glenwood City, and Cochrane-Fountain City. Hillsboro has a narrow edge as the final qualifier in the division.

8-Player

Belmont is the top overall seed in 8-player this week, with Gilman, Valley Christian, and Hurley the other number one seeds. Suring, Assumption, Sevastopol, and Wabeno/Laona are the two seeds as of now, while Wild Rose would be the final playoff qualifier.
