BOUND WISCONSIN WEEK 8 FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINEES

Lachlan Daffinson, G-E-T
G-E-T was 1-6 heading into Friday night, while Arcadia was 5-2. However, G-E-T kept its playoff hopes alive with a shocking 40-16 win over the Raiders. With two quarterbacks injured, sophomore Lachlan Daffinson moved to quarterback from running back, completing nine-of-10 passes for 84 yards and a touchdown to go with 24 carries for 151 yards and three scores. Daffinson also had a 72-yard pick-six to key the Red Hawks to victory.

Ronald Hatch, Webster
Webster moved to 7-1 overall with a 50-28 victory over Elmwood/Plum City. Senior running back Ronald Hatch ran the ball 20 times for 356 yards and five touchdowns, including a 98-yard touchdown scamper. He also caught a 16-yard pass and had 14 tackles on defense.

Matthew Huffman, Hillsboro
Hillsboro took a big step toward playoff qualification with a 27-6 victory over Necedah on Friday night. Junior running back Matthew Huffman had a big day, rushing 30 times for 280 yards and three touchdowns for the Tigers.

Cohen Kraus, Racine Lutheran
Kraus helped Racine Lutheran remain unbeaten as they took down defending Division 7 state champion Kenosha St. Joseph 33-6 in a crossover contest. Kraus completed 12-of-18 passes for 167 yards and a score, ran for 109 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries, was credited with 21 tackles (3 for loss), forced a fumble, and averaged 43 yards per punt.

Blake Williamson, Mondovi
Mondovi continued to roll in a wild 62-57 win over Elk Mound, despite giving up 470 rushing yards. Williamson provided a host of big plays, including two catches for 102 yards plus eight carries for 165 yards and two touchdowns. He also had eight tackles on defense.

Travis Wilson serves as the Bound Wisconsin Manager. Wilson was selected as part of the Sports 40 Under 40 list by Coach & AD Magazine and the National High School Athletic Coaches Association for 2019. The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) named Travis the 2015 recipient of the Dave McClain Distinguished Service Award. He currently serves on the WFCA Executive Board and is a member of the Executive Board of the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association. A graduate of Richland Center High School and Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Travis was a three-sport athlete in high school (football, baseball, basketball), inducted to the Richland Center High School Hall of Fame in 2023, and currently resides in Reedsburg.
