Division 1
Wisconsin Lutheran remains the undisputed unanimous number one team in the Bound Wisconsin/Zaleski Sports Division 1 Media Poll. Speaking of unanimous, West Allis Central received all of the votes at number two. Kaukauna had been second but suffered its first loss of the year to Marshfield and slips to fifth. Speaking of Marshfield, they make a big jump into the rankings at number six. Verona drops out this week.
Division 2
No changes in the top five this week, with Onalaska once again the top-ranked team. Following are Beaver Dam, Slinger, Port Washington, and West De Pere. McFarland moves into the rankings after a strong 11-1 start to the season, with Wauwatosa West dropping out of the poll.
Division 3
Very few changes in the Division 3 poll this week, with eight of the ten teams staying right where they were last week. That includes Freedom as the top-ranked squad, with fellow unbeaten Seymour second. Osceola swaps spots with G-E-T, going from eighth to tenth.
Division 4
There’s a new number one in Division 4, with undefeated Bonduel moving just ahead of Milwaukee Juneau, who slips to second. The rest of the top five remains the same, featuring Marathon, Kewaunee, and Lomira. Howards Grove is new to the rankings at number nine, with Saint Mary Catholic falling out of the poll.
Division 5
The number one versus number two showdown in Division 5 certainly lived up to the hype. In the first of two meetings between the teams, top-ranked Kickapoo scored a thrilling 85-80 double overtime victory against second-ranked North Crawford. The teams remain in the same spots in the rankings this week. There were several changes in the positions of the top ten teams, though none dropped out of the poll this week.
