WIAC Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week
MEN’S BASKETBALL
Carter Lichtsinn, Senior (Olathe, Kan./Olathe West), Forward of UW-Eau Claire
Lichtsinn helped UW-Eau Claire record their best start since the 1999 campaign with the team's seventh and eighth wins of the season. He led the Blugolds in scoring during victories over Bethel University (Minn.) and St. Olaf College (Minn.), averaging 17.5 points per game and 13.5 rebounds per game. Lichtsinn's double-double against the Royals on Nov. 25, was his first of the season as he leads UW-Eau Claire in total points and rebounds.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Delaney Nyenhuis, Sophomore (Fitchburg, Wis./Oregon), Forward of UW-Eau Claire
Nyenhuis helped the Blugolds extend their win streak to five games with wins over St. Norbert College (Wis.) and University of Minnesota-Morris. She posted her third double-double of the season against the Green Knights on Nov. 25, scoring 10 points and grabbing 12 boards, including four offensive rebounds. On Nov. 30, Nyenhuis continued her strong play in the paint with 13 rebounds, including seven offensive, as she averaged 12.5 rebounds during the week. Defensively, Nyenhuis recorded 4.5 steals a game as the Blugolds tallied 27 points off turnovers during the two victories.

Travis Wilson serves as the Bound Wisconsin Manager. Wilson was selected as part of the Sports 40 Under 40 list by Coach & AD Magazine and the National High School Athletic Coaches Association for 2019. The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) named Travis the 2015 recipient of the Dave McClain Distinguished Service Award. He currently serves on the WFCA Executive Board and is a member of the Executive Board of the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association. A graduate of Richland Center High School and Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Travis was a three-sport athlete in high school (football, baseball, basketball), inducted to the Richland Center High School Hall of Fame in 2023, and currently resides in Reedsburg.
