Week 6 Rushing Leaders

Slinger won a shootout with Whitefish Bay 56-39 on Friday night, putting up nearly 500 total yards. The bulk of that came from senior running back Kobe Hendricks, who carried the ball 20 times for 316 yards and six touchdowns for the Owls, as the defending state champions move to 5-1 on the season.

Week 6 Passing Leaders

Waupun is off to an impressive 6-0 start to the season, and on Friday night the Warriors downed Wautoma 60-17. Senior quarterback Chase Beahm completed 13-of-20 passes for 380 yards and four touchdowns in the victory, averaging an incredible 29.2 yards per completion. He leads the state in passing yards on the year with 1,853.

Week 6 Receiving Leaders

Edgewood stayed undefeated with a 49-34 victory over Lakeside Lutheran on Friday night, getting a big passing performance from the offense. Junior Ben Morey was a big-play threat all night, catching seven passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns, averaging better than 35 yards per reception.
