Week 8 Rushing Leaders
The ridiculous season for Ripon senior Eric Cumber continues, with a 440-yard rushing performance in a 41-14 win over Wautoma in Week 8. Cumber carried the ball 44 times with five touchdowns, as he’s up to 2,396 rushing yards this year. That’s 718 yards more than anyone else this year. Cumber has already broken the state’s regular season rushing record (previously 2,307 by Kenosha St. Joseph’s Adrian Davis in 2001) with one game remaining.

Week 8 Passing Leaders
Friday night was chock full highly competitive, exciting games. Perhaps none more so than the West De Pere versus Bay Port game. Bay Port led early and often, including a 45-28 advantage with less than six minutes remaining in the game. However, buoyed by a pair of onside kick recoveries and an explosive offense, West De Pere made an incredible comeback in a 48-45 win, as senior quarterback Patrick Greisen cemented himself as the Player of the Year frontrunner with 471 passing yards and seven touchdowns.

Week 8 Receiving Leaders
Pardeeville came up short in a 46-40 shootout loss to Markesan on Friday, though the Bulldogs had a huge passing night. Junior Devin Jerome hauled in 14 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns for the Bulldogs.

Travis Wilson serves as the Bound Wisconsin Manager. Wilson was selected as part of the Sports 40 Under 40 list by Coach & AD Magazine and the National High School Athletic Coaches Association for 2019. The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) named Travis the 2015 recipient of the Dave McClain Distinguished Service Award. He currently serves on the WFCA Executive Board and is a member of the Executive Board of the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association. A graduate of Richland Center High School and Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Travis was a three-sport athlete in high school (football, baseball, basketball), inducted to the Richland Center High School Hall of Fame in 2023, and currently resides in Reedsburg.
