Quintin Arizola of Delavan-Darien has been selected as the Level 2 Bound Wisconsin Football Player of the Week following a statewide vote on BoundWisconsin.com. His big day helped the Comets score a road victory to advance in the playoffs. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Level 2. A total of 5,447 votes were cast, as Arizola’s 2,390 were enough to edge out second place Brock Hinderman of Iowa-Grant, who tallied 2,230 votes.

Delavan-Darien needed every yard from Quintin Arizola and the passing attack in a 42-35 win over Edgewood in Level 2. Arizola completed 31-of-40 passes for 432 yards with five touchdowns to lift the Comets into Level 3 for the first time since 2010. He added 17 rushing yards as well plus a two-point conversion.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite player can be named Bound Wisconsin Football Player of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for next week’s nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
