Northwestern stands atop the Heart O’North conference standings, a game up in the loss column over Saint Croix Falls and Hayward. The Tigers have a chance to clinch the conference title this week with games versus both squads to book end their week. Beginning with this one, a game in which the Saints took the first matchup 72-65. Despite being out-rebounded 40-25, Falls go 27 points from Elliot Wilson and took home the win.
These teams have had great competitions against one another over the years, competing on opposite sides of the Big East conference. Both coaches have done a remarkable job this season of offsetting the loss of major contributors from last year’s squad to be competitive and successful here in 2025-26.

This will likely determine whether the Greater Metro has a lone conference champion or is shared between 3-4 schools come seasons end. Brookfield East holds a one game lead over Brookfield Central, Germantown, and Wauwatosa West and if the Spartans get a win on Tuesday night, they’ll have to survive a West Allis Hale upset to claim the league title solo. A Central win, and wins by the other two teams will leave the Greater Metro in a 4-team tie. East won the first matchup 74-65, winning the game from deep, while also recording 16 steals defensively.
This game will likely determine whether the Rock Valley-Valley crown is split or East Troy wins it outright. The Trojans sit a game ahead of the Cheesemakers in the loss column, thanks in large part to a 79-67 victory in December. In that one, East Troy won the rebounding battle, and shot it better from the field, while also turning six would-be shots away via the block. Cameron Polvi had a game high 25 for East Troy.
We are six days removed from the first matchup between these two teams, a 63-56 Fall Creek win. Due to that, the Crickets hold a half game lead in the Cloverbelt-West which makes this game equally as important as the first. Junior big man Miles Schmidgall and point guard Jackson Tangley led the way for Fall Creek in the first matchup.
This game has conference implications as Middleton is tied in the loss column with Madison Memorial atop the Big Eight standings, with Verona two games back. The top of the Big Eight has been impressive this season and this game will just showcase these teams even more. In the first game, Middleton came out ahead in a tight 72-70 victory.
A great non-conference matchup between two ranked matchups is a late-season treat for basketball lovers across the state. The leader in the Wisconsin Valley and Great Northern, this game pits two very balanced squads that have high playoff aspirations.
These two squads are jockeying for position in the FRCC, but also are looking to get the top seed in their half-sectional come playoff time. In the WIAA’s mid-season seed release, West De Pere held the top spot with Notre Dame at the two-slot, thanks in large part to a one-point victory back in December. A Phantom victory would all but clinch that one seed, while a Triton win keeps Notre Dame not only in the hunt for an FRCC title, but for the top spot as well.
The Trailways-East conference crown is up for grabs in this one as Oakfield is undefeated in league standings, one game ahead of Horicon. With an Oaks win, the league will have a solo winner, but with a Marshmen win, the title is likely shared. Oakfield won the first matchup 51-38 holding Horicon to just 23.5% shooting from the field and forcing 20 turnovers.
A Big East crossover game between the current top teams in the standings of each division makes this game a must watch in the northeastern part of the state. Reedsville is the smaller school of the two, but the top ranked team in Division 5 and led by senior guard Ben Prochnow. Oostburg has been ranked all year and boasts one of the better one-two punches in Cade Dirkse and JJ Zavatchin.
Two of the three teams tied atop the Badger-Large standings, this game very well could serve as an elimination game for the loser. Both of these squads are on a roll right now as Waunakee has won five straight coming inot this one while Oregon has rattled off seven straight, including a win over Beaver Dam. In game one, Oregon squeaked out a 56-51 victory back in early January.
