
David Johnson of Hillsobor has been selected as the Week 13 Bound Wisconsin Basketball Player of the Week following a statewide vote on BoundWisconsin.com. He helped the Tigers to a pair of impressive wins. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 13. A total of 1,353 votes were cast, as Johnson’s 755 were enough to edge out second place Max Jones of West Allis Central, who tallied 464 votes.
Hillsboro was impressive in a pair of victories last week. They started with a 78-70 non-conference win over Luther, as senior David Johnson had 28 points and 22 rebounds. They’d down Bangor 73-60, with Johnson scoring 14 points with 15 rebounds.
