It is time to take a look at this week’s Bound Wisconsin/Zaleski Sports Girls Basketball Media Poll. Voting is conducted by a panel of statewide media members.

Division 1

Arrowhead continues atop the D1 rankings, coming off a victory over Muskego in a state tournament rematch. Kimberly is second with Wauwatosa East third, as those teams will square off on Saturday in an outstanding non-conference matchup. Stevens Point falls three spots after losing to Hortonville, allowing Neenah to move into the top five. Eau Claire Memorial is out of the rankings, with Madison La Follette entering.

Division 2

Another week, another new top-ranked team in the Division 2 Bound Wisconsin/Zaleski Sports Media Poll. Rice Lake fell to Stevens Point and thus falls to second, with Beaver Dam going up to the top spot this week. Also moving down were Xavier, Whitefish Bay, Shawano, and Edgewood, while Waukesha West drops completely out of the rankings. River Falls is new this week.

Division 3

Oostburg is the unanimous number one team in a strong Division 3 rankings, as the Flying Dutch have some impressive wins early on this year. Edgerton is second, while Kettle Moraine Lutheran just slipped head of Wittenberg-Birnamwood. Wisconsin Dells rounds out the top five.

Division 4

Regis went down in an outstanding game to Colfax at the UW-Eau Claire Tournament over the weekend, and the Ramblers drop out of the top spot this week, sliding to fourth. Neillsville moves into the number one position this week, followed by Manitowoc Lutheran and Stratford. Albany/Monticello falls out of the poll, allowing Auburndale to move in this week.

Division 5

Argyle/Pecatonica put a lockdown on the top spot with a key win over rival Albany/Monticello last week. The co-op program is followed again by Assumption, Eleva-Strum, and Sheboygan Lutheran, while Blair-Taylor is up to fifth. Fall River falls out of the rankings, with Owen-Withee entering at number nine.
