Kyrin Lile of Elkhorn has been selected as the Week 4 Bound Wisconsin Basketball Player of the Week following a statewide vote on BoundWisconsin.com. She helped the Braves to a pair of victories last week, posting a triple-double in one of them. She was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 4. A total of 2,267 votes were cast, as Lile’s 1,007 were enough to edge out second place Avery Glenz of Eleva-Strum, who tallied 536 votes.

Elkhorn went 3-0 last week with a pair of league victories plus a nice non-conference win. First, they took down Waterford 62-48, as Kyrin Lile had 23 points and eight rebounds. In a 53-23 win over perennial Southern Lakes Conference power Union Grove, Lile recorded a triple-double with 17 points, 18 rebounds, and 10 assists, along with five blocks and four steals. The Elks also defeated Waukesha West on Saturday.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite player can be named Bound Wisconsin Basketball Player of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for next week’s nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
