
The Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers have been selected as the Week 4 Bound Wisconsin Football Team of the Week following a statewide vote on BoundWisconsin.com. The team remained unbeaten with a big win over Cedar Grove-Belgium in league play. The Lancers were chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 4. A total of 3,752 votes were cast, as Manitowoc Lutheran’s 1,561 votes edged Germantown’s 800 votes.
Manitowoc Lutheran remained undefeated and showed they will be a force in the Big East Conference, defeating Cedar Grove-Belgium 47-14, ending a 13-game league winning streak for the Rockets. The Lancers had 414 yards of offense, including 222 through the air from Jaymen ott. Brody Weiting returned an interception for a touchdown as part of a strong defensive performance.

Wilson was selected as part of the Sports 40 Under 40 list by Coach & AD Magazine and the National High School Athletic Coaches Association for 2019. The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) named Travis the 2015 recipient of the Dave McClain Distinguished Service Award. He currently serves on the WFCA Executive Board and is a member of the Executive Board of the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association. A graduate of Richland Center High School and Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Travis was a three-sport athlete in high school (football, baseball, basketball), inducted to the Richland Center High School Hall of Fame in 2023, and currently resides in Reedsburg.
