
The Kewaunee boys basketball team has been selected as the Week 6 Bound Wisconsin Basketball Team of the Week following a statewide vote on BoundWisconsin.com. The team got an impressive victory over the holiday break. The Storm were chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 6. A total of 949 votes were cast, as Kewaunee’s 549 votes edged D.C. Everest boys basketball’s 337 votes.
Kewaunee boys basketball had just one game last week, but it was a big one. Facing a very good Howards Grove squad on Friday, Kewaunee scored a 73-70 overtime win. Senior Avery Jerabek scored a game-high 19 points, while Connor Kilgore and Diesel Bosdeck also reached double-figures.
