
Calvin Bahr of Aquinas has been selected as the Week 7 Bound Wisconsin Basketball Player of the Week following a statewide vote on BoundWisconsin.com. He helped the Blugolds score a trio of victories last week. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 7. A total of 1,522 votes were cast, as Bahr’s 454 were enough to edge out second place Bria Gruen of Royall, who tallied 365 votes.
The Aquinas boys basketball team scored a trio of victories last week, including a pair of conference wins. The fourth-ranked Blugolds downed Tomah 78-50 behind 24 points and 16 rebounds from junior Calvin Bahr. Bahr would add 27 points, 14 rebounds, and six assists in an 80-71 victory over La Crosse Logan. Defeating Rochester Lourdes 71-35 on Saturday, Bahr would score 22 points with eight rebounds and four assists.
