The team scored a win over fellow top five team Bay Port to take control of the conference race. The Phantoms were chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 7. A total of 2,999 votes were cast, as West De Pere’s 1,198 votes edged Cambridge’s 796 votes.

In another top five matchup, West De Pere got past Bay Port for a 33-27 victory to remain unbeaten and atop the FRCC-North. It was another great matchup between these teams, who have played a number of close games in recent years. Kainan Strong ran for 117 yards and two touchdowns, Parker Diedrich caught four passes for 117 yards and a score, while Andrew Greisen threw for 235 yards and two touchdowns.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite team can be named Bound Wisconsin Team of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for next week’s nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
