
With this week's decision by the WIAA Board of Control to vote down the proposed state tournament expansion for boys and girls basketball, the WIAA has now released the official Division and Sectional assignments for both boys and girls basketball.

Division Requests
Of note, the West Allis Central boys basketball requested to be elevated from Division 2 to Division 1, as they have many times before, and were approved.
Chesterton Academy of St. John Paul II of Green Bay, Impact Christian Academy, St. Ignatius Chesterton Academy, and Washington Island basketball teams for both boys and girls opted out of the playoffs.

The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) named Travis the 2015 recipient of the Dave McClain Distinguished Service Award. He currently serves on the WFCA Executive Board and is a member of the Executive Board of the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association. A graduate of Richland Center High School and Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Travis was a three-sport athlete in high school (football, baseball, basketball), inducted to the Richland Center High School Hall of Fame in 2023, and currently resides in Reedsburg.
