It is time to take a look at this week’s Bound Wisconsin/Zaleski Sports Boys Basketball Media Poll. Voting is conducted by a panel of statewide media members.

Division 1

In the last Bound Wisconsin/Zaleski Sports Media Poll of the regular season, Wisconsin Lutheran ends it as they began, unanimous atop Division 1. West Allis Central is second, with De Pere, Kaukauna, and Madison Memorial rounding out the top five. Brookfield East slides into the rankings this week to replace Marshfield.

Division 2

Not much for changes in Division 2 this week, with Port Washington still edging out Slinger for the top spot. Nicolet does re-enter the rankings with a 15-9 record, replacing Notre Dame.

Division 3

Seymour suffered its first loss of the year against Oshkosh North, and it allows Freedom to slip just ahead of the Thunder at the top of the D3 rankings. The teams remain on a collision course for a sectional semifinal, however. Overall, not much for changes in this week’s poll for Division 3.

Division 4

Yet another week where Kewaunee narrowly holds off Milwaukee Juneau for the top spot in the poll. Marathon drops a couple spots after going down to Edgar in the regular season finale but remains in the top five. Iola-Scandinavia enters the poll, with Manitowoc Lutheran dropping out.

Division 5

Kickapoo ends the regular season as the top-ranked team in the state’s smallest division, followed by Reedsville, Tigerton, Belmont, and Loyal in the top five.
