The Marawood and Cloverbelt are two conferences that get intertwined come playoff time a lot. However, the two leagues combined to go 13-6 in the regional semis. They split the four games played amongst their teams.
The Greater Metro flexed its muscles a bit in the regional semifinals, proving it is one of the best conference in the state. The league went 6-2 including five-seeds Brookfield Central and Wauwatosa East going on the road and getting wins.
The North Shore was a six-point Homestead loss away from going a perfect 6-0 on the night. Another very strong conference flexed its muscles, protecting their home courts (4-0) with all five wins coming by double figures.

The Badger struggled as a whole on Friday night advancing four teams, but going just 1-6 in games against out-of-conference teams, a Waunakee victory over Mukwonago. The rest of the conference struggled against teams out of the Big Eight, Classic Eight, Woodland, and Greater Metro conferences, losing four games hosted by those Badger teams.

The Heart O’North went just 1-4 Friday night with the lone win coming in a Saint Croix Falls victory over Northwestern, an intra-league game.
The Marinette & Oconto will not have a team competing in the regional finals as the final two went down on Friday night. Crivitz and Oneida both fell.
The Milwaukee City Conference is far from it’s heyday of dominating on the hardwood. In the regional semifinals on Friday night, the city conference struggled mightily. As a league, the MCC went 3-11 with two of the wins coming against opponents out of the Lake City, Midwest Classic, and another MCC school.
The South Central did not fair well on Friday night as the only win came from one of the new teams to the conference this season, Berlin. Though most games were played on the road, the conference champion Mauston fell by 19 points to Platteville, the smallest margin of defeat by the four losing teams.
