The Cambridge boys basketball team has been selected as the Week 16 Bound Wisconsin Basketball Team of the Week following a statewide vote on BoundWisconsin.com. The team scored a pair of sectional upsets to advance to the Division 4 state tournament. The Warriors were chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 16. A total of 4,796 votes were cast, as Cambridge’s 2,172 votes edged Southwestern boys basketball’s 2,031 votes.

Cambridge is playing in the WIAA Boys Basketball State Tournament for the first time in program history, as the Blue Jays qualified in Division 4. They had a pair of close wins in sectional play, including 64-56 over Darlington on Thursday followed by a 58-56 overtime win against Lomira in the sectional final.
